The Young Designers’ Exhibition is Taiwan’s largest annual design exhibition, wherein this set of design work was proposed but not adopted. The primary visual design is based on the concept of “using gears as micro cells to achieve great creativity “. With the gears as the primary visual elements, and combining images and text design techniques, different shapes, colors and sizes are combined with the six Chinese words “新ㄧ代設計展 (Young Designers’ Exhibition)” to create a fortress full of kinetic energy. The gears in various sizes represent the creative cells which are small but powerful. When they come together towards the same goal, they can emit abundant creativity and boundless kinetic energy. Interpreting the exhibition with this concept can bring viewers richer creativity.
